Where does our adventure start?
Polpara leaves from Porto Mirabello, in La Spezia.
How many mates can I take with me?
Polpara can host a maximum of 8 adults. Our motto is “it is not the quantity, but the quality that counts!”. If infants (0-2 years old) are traveling with you, no ticket is needed for them, they will be our guests! Children between the ages of 3 and 10 years old, however, will pay a reduced price.
What if there is bad weather?
We want you to live an experience that will long remain in your best memories.Therefore, your satisfaction and safety are our main concern. If the weather doesn’t cooperate with us, we will have to cancel the tour. In this case, you will be refunded, and you can choose another date to depart again for our adventure.
How much earlier should I arrive at the boarding area?
Independently form the tour type we recommend to arrive at least 15 minutes earlier. In this way we will have enough time to get to know each other, check your booking and best start our adventure.
Can I celebrate events on board Polpara?
Polpara is the perfect place to celebrate important events! From bachelor and bachelorette parties to birthdays or simply a boat party.
You can plan every aspect of your party by booking the private tour “Dimmi quando quando quando”.
How is the organization of a private tour carried out?
If you choose to take a private tour, you can organize it by customizing every aspect. Once you've filled out the form indicating the destinations of your trip, the time you want to spend with us, and the activities you want to do on board, you'll receive a confirmation email for booking the tour. We will contact you by phone so that this adventure reflects your personality to the fullest, planning it in every detail.
By car?
If you arrive by car, you can park it directly in the port parking. As good travel companions we advise you to arrive a little earlier than the tour time because the parking can be full, above all in summer, and you may need to look for parking spots nearby.

From a cruise?
From the Cruise Terminal, walk all along the Passeggiata Morin, turn left and go across the bridge towards us. You will find us smiling on the dock, ready to set sail together.
By train?
When you arrive at La Spezia Centrale station you will easily reach us, it’s a 20-minute walk. The right warm-up to start our adventure together. Go out of the station, turn left and go all along Via Del Prione and through the public gardens. Cross the road and walk towards the sea, across the bridge. Can you see us?
Should I book the tour in advance?
Yes, we kindly ask you to book your adventure in advance on our portal to be sure that you take the chance to set sail with us.
We cannot grant you to find room on Polpara without a booking. It depends on the daily flow, above all in the high season, between June and August, and if you are with your whole crew.
How can I pay?

How will I know that my booking is confirmed?
You will receive a booking confirmation. We will contact you two days before the tour because our work and the success of the tour depend above all on the weather.
What if I cannot reach you because of an accident?
If you cannot arrive in time for the start of the tour, a refund will not be made. Always try to be early. The maximum tolerance for lateness is 10 minutes, then we set sail. But if unfortunately you already know you won't be there you can write us a whatsapp message or email, up to 7 days before departure, to request free cancellation. Otherwise, the cancellation penalty will be the total amount of the reservation. If you do not show up, the penalty will be the same as the cancellation penalty.

Do you have the equipment to do snorkeling on board?
In our tours we enjoy the sea at 360 degrees, even under the water. So, you will find masks as well on board Polpara. If you have yours though, take it with you!
What should I bring?
To get on board Polpara, as you may have understood, you will need just a few things.
Wear your swimsuit and a hat, bring a towel, sunglasses and sunscreen. You do not need anything else; we must have fun!
Can I take my pet aboard?
Sure, in your private adventure we like to have furry friends on board.
If you choose a group tour though, we must unwillingly do without them, to meet the needs of every fellow adventurer.
Can I bring luggage or strollers on board?
You can bring strollers on a private tour, but not on a group tour, because we do not have enough room and we wish to respect everyone’s comfort.
As for luggage, it is better not to have them on board for space and weight reasons, but above all for your own safety.
Can a disabled person travel aboard Polpara?
Sure. Our adventures are open to everyone interested in them. If you want to travel without any limit, a private tour is the best way to meet your needs.
